Remember when we posted the first installment of Good Morning Angel’s ‘Blackest of Black’ black lipstick review?? For those who didn’t get a chance to read it, we received a great review! PBLC featured in Good Morning Angel black lipstick review!!

Lovers of black lipstick rejoice!! British fashion and beauty blog Good Morning Angel has just posted part one of their ‘Blackest of Black’ black lipstick review!!! PBLC in upcoming film ‘My Summer as a Goth!!’

Portland film makers Tara Johnson-Medinger and Brandon Roberts are currently working on an amazing film project–a story about growing up, falling in love and finding yourself–that is positively drenched in gorgeous, gothy goodness!!

To our absolute delight, PBLC makeup will be featured in the movie! Take a look at this makeover scene that they have already shot:

Making a film is expensive! As part of the project’s kickstarter campaign, PBLC has collaborated with the filmmakers to create goth makeover kits for anyone who donates $250 or more. They made these adorable boxes:

Each box comes with three PBLC items: 1) Black Lipstick, of course!; 2) Vegan Corpse Paint; and 3) Dark Dark Dark, our new black eyeshadow!! Dark Dark Dark was made specially for this box set and is not yet available for regular sale.

PBLC selling lipstick (and more) at Static!!

For the last few months, we have had the pleasure of selling our products at Static, an excellent boutique on East Burnside in Portland. They opened in 2011, so are relatively new–if you haven’t gone there yet, we highly recommend it!

They carry great, gothy classics like Lip Service clothing and jewelry from Alchemy Gothic, lots of delicious band t-shirts and hoodies, vintage clothing and hand crafted conceits from local artisans. Many of these items are sold below recommended list price, like the marvelous parasol from London I bought myself (pictured below…)

The atmosphere makes browsing a pleasure. The music is always wonderful and the owner, Simone, is friendly, funny and very knowledgeable. Here she is, pictured below with counter top and paper skeletons:
